Inflacam® Granules

Keep a tight rein on musculoskeletal pain

Inflacam® granules are a unique granule formulation of meloxicam for horses. They are part of the Inflacam® equine range which also includes meloxicam injection and oral suspension.

The range is licensed for the alleviation of inflammation and relief of pain, in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Meloxicam is a COX‑2 preferential non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory drug, associated with fewer negative effects on the gastrointestinal tract than phenylbutazone1,2. In a recent peer-reviewed publication, meloxicam was shown to be more efficacious at reducing pain in horses with acute synovitis than phenylbutazone3.
