KEY BENEFITS & CHARACTERISTICS

Increases Water Intake

High amounts of protein and sodium stimulate water intake, help to increase urine volume and micturition frequency.

Low Struvite RSS (<1)

The formulation induces urine under-saturated for struvites, with struvite RSS** < 1, to promote rapid** dissolution of struvite stones (efficacy proven by Virbac)⁽¹⁾

High EPA+DHA (omega-3)

Addition of fish oil allows to achieve high amount of omega-3, especially EPA+DHA, and helps limit low urinary tract (LUT) inflammation.

Urine Acidification (pH:6.0-6.5)*

Urinary pH between 6.0 – 6.5 allows dissolution of struvites without increasing the risk of oxalate formation. (efficacy proven by Virbac)⁽¹⁾

Phosphorus Binding

Added chitosan, as phosphorus binder, helps reduce bioavailability of phosphorus and thus decrease its urinary excretion.
