GLOBAL PREVENTIVE PROFILE

Once neutered, young cats are already predisposed towards becoming overweight even if they are still growing.

Growth after Neutering

The moderate energy density, adapted feeding rations and L-carnitine supplement limit the risk of excessive weight gain which could result from neutering. The high protein content contributes to muscle development.

Moderate Calorie Level

The reduced fat content and increased fibre content ensure appropriate energy density for the end of growth, after neutering.

Urinary Health

The high level of animal protein stimulates water intake, increases the volume of urine and helps stabilise the pH, for a healthy urinary system. The chitosan supplement, a digestive chelating agent for phosphorous, helps to limit the excretion of the latter in the urine for improved prevention of struvite crystal formation.

High Digestive Tolerance

The very low starch content allows for the immature digestive amylase activity. Lactobacilli (probiotic) stimulate the growth of a protective acidogenic flora. They contribute to strong local immunity. The bentonite protects the digestive muscosa, helps limit inflammatory and infectious process and ensures normal stool odour and consistency. Soluble fibres (prebiotics) contribute to the normal growth of digestive flora and to the integrity of the colonic mucosa.

Skin & Coat Support

The high levels of proteins and the balance of omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids contribute to the development of epidermal barrier functions and the formation of the coat.

Dental Tartar Control

The pentasodium triphosphate supplement helps to limit dental plaque and tartar formation and contributes to good oral and dental health from a very early age.

Low Glycaemic Index

The low starch content helps ensure stable blood glucose levels.
