Neutered Dog

INDICATION
Complete diet for neutered dogs (or those with a tendency to be overweight):
• Large breeds (>25kg), over 6 years old.
• Medium breeds (10-25kg), over 8 years old.

Available sizes: 3kg, 7kg, 12kg

GLOBAL PREVENTIVE PROFILE

The oxidative processes responsible for ageing intensify in older dogs. The major functions must be protected. Neutering encourages excess weight, and decreased activity levels cause a predisposition to muscle wastage and joint issues.

Body Weight Control

The controlled energy density of the diet and adapted feeding rations help prevent the excess weight which might result from neutering. The HP-LC formulation helps maintain optimal body condition. The increased fibre content helps achieve satiety. The L-carnitine supplement helps fat metabolism and limits fatty tissue deposit.

Moderate Calorie Level

The reduced level of fat and increased level of fibre help to reduce the energy content of the diet, thus limiting calorie intake.

Muscle Mass Preservation

The high level of protein helps maintain muscle mass.

Joint & Muscle Support

The high level of protein helps maintain muscle mass. The chondroitin and chitosan supplements help maintain joint elasticity.

High Digestive Tolerance

The low starch content helps ensure good digestive tolerance. The choice of soluble and insoluble dietary fibres (prebiotic) and the lactobacillus supplement (probiotic) help intestinal transit and help ensure a balanced digestive flora. The bentonite supplement helps protect the digestive mucosa and contribute to the elimination of well-formed, low-odour stools

The low starch content helps ensure stable blood glucose levels.

The levels of proteins and vitamin E, a natural anti-oxidant, help maintain a strong immune system.

The reduced phosphorous content and its digestive chelation by chitosan assist in maintaining a healthy renal function.

The product is formulated without maize, wheat, gluten, soya, egg, beef or fish*.

Skin & Coat Support

The high level of animal proteins, source of sulphur-containing amino acids, and the balance of omega-6 and omega-3 essential fatty acids help to ensure skin and coat renewal and maintain the epidermal barrier function.
